Swap Mr. Draper
Inspired by the cool dudes at Grown and Gathered, we at Mr. Draper offer trades and swaps for all products in our range. We want quality linen goods to be accessible to everyone and we will happily make an item for you.
Anything is considered for a trade. However, we ask that you either make it / grow it / catch it / bake it yourself. We would take your home made rock cakes over supermarket scones any day of the week. Just send us an email.
Examples of previous trades include:
- Handkerchiefs for Indy Mags
- Pillowcases for Macramé Pot Hangers
- Pillowcases for Home Made Honey
- A Doona cover for Flowers
Please remember that we are just a very small business with limited time, resources and capital. We don't have mountains of fabric in stock. While we would love to swap you something for 50 doonas to fit out your hotel, we sometimes might not be able to make it happen.
We will do our best though.
Quite simply, when you buy a Mr. Draper product, you’ll have an amazing fabric that continues to improve with age. Think of it as an investment. When you make a considered purchase, you’ll own a product that will be with you for many years to come – a rarity in today’s throw away society. However, if you eventually tire of a colour or have damaged a product, you can send it back to us to have the fabric repurposed into another Mr Draper product. Think how many tea towels you could have from a doona!
Want something repurposed?
Just send us an email.
Don’t want to keep your Mr. Draper product or repurpose it into something for yourself?
Let us know. We’ll pay the shipping cost to bring it home. We can then repurpose it into something else for someone else. Our fabric is far too beautiful to go in the bin!
We have bags full of linen offcuts that are too small to sew into handkerchiefs but perfect for your next craft project. Mr. Draper offers these offcuts to fundraisers and school groups free of charge. Simply send us an email. detailing your project and we’ll let you know what we have on hand. Once we work out the details, we just ask that you cover the cost of shipping it out to you.
